Today marks the one-year anniversary of Trackmania alongside the release of the Summer 2021 campaign!
This is also the time for the monthly matchmaking reset.
Here is the changelog of today's release:

Hey everyone,

This weekend the Trackmania Grand League World Cup is happening on both Saturday & Sunday starting at 7PM CEST.

We're pushing a small update mainly for World Cup modifications and the following fixes:

+ Improved display of the skins in the club skins upload activity

Hello everyone,

We're coming back with a new update that doesn't look like much, but a lot has changed in the background. We changed more than 1400 files of our code in order to prepare to the next big updates.
If you see any issue, please report it as soon as possible in the forums.

GENERAL

+ Displayed the full date for the end of your Standard or Club access
+ Fixed an issue with the start of multi-lap maps when the map has another starting point
+ Fixed a rare script crash in the solo

MATCHMAKING

+ Fixed squad view in matchmaking for display with a ratio superior of 16/9
+ Fixed a script crash for Master 3 ranks

KNOWN ISSUES

+ Camera 3 is not working correctly
+ Double-tapping a camera change makes the camera look behind the car

Today marks the time where you will now be able to invite your friends and have fun together in a matchmaking match on Trackmania.

Indeed, we are now releasing the squadding feature for matchmaking exclusively allowing everyone to create a squad that can go up to 3 players and face other squads in intense matchmaking matches! In order to provide the best racing experience to everyone, you will only be able to invite players that has a -+1000 points difference from your rank, allowing fair and balanced matches. This number is subject to changes in the next weeks.

Once in the squadding menu, you will be able to see your friends that are currently playing Trackmania and invite them to your party.

As with any feature we have been releasing since the release of Trackmania in 2020, we will need your help to find out things that we might have missed and we count on you to report any bugs you will encounter regarding the squad... Read more

Hey everyone,

We are back today with a new update in order to apply multiple fixes.
We are also still working hard on getting the squadding up and ready as soon as possible allowing you and your friends to play matchmaking together!

Here is the changelog:

+ Changed the menu of the campaign: you can now select a medal to compete against. You can also play alone or play against players from the world.
+ Fixed issues with the event pages.
+ Fixed an issue with the upload of maps on map review servers.
+ Fixed flags of England and Mississippi
+ Added 85 new regions of Russia
+ Fixed an issue where a player could crash after a map change
+ Fixed multiple issues in the map editor

Hey everyone,

We're back today with a small update to make some important fixes:


+ Fixed the announcement of the Cup of the Day
+ Displayed public map reviews in the map review page under Create
+ Fixed an issue with the loading of monthly campaigns
+ Fixed memory leak during network play
+ Chat visibility toggle is now 2 states by default (unfolded/folded), and there is a setting to enable 3 states toggle (hidden/unfolded/folded)
+ Fixed issues when other players disconnect (like interrupted media clips)

Regarding what's coming next, we are currently working hard on the squadding option that will be implemented for the matchmaking allowing any player to invite and play with up to 2 friends at any time.

After three intense months of hunting, we would like to congratulate Racehans for his win on the Winter 2021 official campaign and he shall receive his deserved trophy 9!
The new Spring 2021 campaign is now available with its 25 new tracks and for free! Feel free to try them out.

We're pushing an update this morning with the following changelog:

+ Fixed multiple translations
+ Fixed multiple issues that could cause game crashes
+ Added a forced verification of the integrity of your files after each update
+ Fixed an issue with instantly respawning after triggering special ring does not remove the effect of it
+ Improved the shaders quality of the car in the menu
+ Fixed an issue where the cut action would not remove the blocks that have been used in ghost mode.

We're pushing a new update with the following changelog:


General

+ Added the item collection activity in clubs. To share your collection of items, you need to place the items in zip and place the .zip in the new "ItemCollections" folder which you can found in your Trackmania folder. Then, when creating the club activity, you'll be able to upload this zip and you can also add up to 10 images and a description in order to describe your collection. Once you have created a collection, players can add it to the map editor by simply going to the collection activity and click on "Add collection". Once it is added, you will be able to find the club items under the item category of the map editor (the tree) under the folder "Club" (next to "Official" and "Custom"). We're pushing a new update to improve your player experience on both Cup of the Day and the matchmaking with the following changes:


Cup of the Day

Since the beginning of the Cup, we have noticed that some players could be placed in a division way lower than what they should have been due to joining the qualification a bit late and not being able to drive a time that would meet their skill level. That behavior usually results in having few players being way faster than the others and impacting the quality of the cup. We decided to reduce the amount of time to drive your first time on the map to 10 minutes (15 minutes before the change), you will still have 15 minutes to improve that time. If you fail to drive a time during the first 10 minutes, your qualification time won't be effective.

Hey everyone,

After a month of matchmaking and thousands of matches you've been playing since, the feature has taught us a lot and made us do some updates and improvements over the course of February.

We are pretty happy with how positive the feature has been received and it's great to see how passionate you were around it. We have communicated on our future plans with it such as bringing the squadding into it, allowing you to invite your friends and give your best to grind the ranks, but we are also thinking about how to improve the current state of matchmaking.

Right now, It's been pretty hard for players that are ranked higher than Master 1 to find a match under an hour, even more sometimes.

Today we've decided to apply a soft reset on the ranks allowing everyone to be able to play and grind as they wish throughout the day, alongside that, we are also adapting and improving the formula around the points you can potentially lose or ... Read more

Hey everyone,

Matchmaking has been out for a few weeks now, and we're truly happy to see how well it was received.
There are still plenty of improvements we want to do with this mode, and some of them are pushed in this update.

New features:

+ Added a flash to the Trackmania window when a match is ready
+ Added a 3D view of your car in the menu (multiple cars will be displayed when the squad feature is added)
+ Added color to the progress bar depending on the color of your rank
+ Added only the match id to the clipboard when clicking on it
+ Added the banned status. If you leave your match before the end, soon you will be banned from matchmaking for a certain amount of time and you will lose the double of points you would have lost

Hello everyone,

Very good news for all Custom Items creators: the Nadeo Importer is now available for Trackmania!

From now on you can import models you created using your favorite 3D software in Trackmania as custom items and use them in the Trackmania map editor.

How does it work?
The Nadeo Importer is a small tool that needs to be installed in the folder which contains your Trackmania.exe. This tool allows you to turn .fbx files into .Item.Gbx files, which can then be used in the Trackmania Map Editor.

Hello everyone,

After 38 editions of the Cup of the day and 24 different winners, we hope that you all enjoyed playing this new feature!
It's truly a pleasure to see so much commitment from the players every day at 7 PM. We are now confident enough to move the Cup of the Day out of its BETA state in order to focus on the matchmaking. If you find any bug, do not hesitate to post it in the official forums.

Hello everyone,

We are releasing an update that will solve the recent issue that happens to some players in the Cup of the day.
Indeed, some records were not counted by the server during the Time Attack session and some players had a wrong placement.

Alongside that, we're pushing the first version of club rooms and campaign lists in the main menu.
There is no need to update your dedicated servers for that update.

Hello everyone!

This week was marked with the beginning of the Cup of the day which we all hope you enjoyed playing
Following that, we are pushing hotfixes that should improve the daily event alongside other minor changes in today's update:

+ Fixed the time gap UI at CPs in Cup of the Day and round-based modes
+ Fixed rankings display in the OGL event
+ Improved the TAA anti-aliasing
+ Fixed the issue where WebM files were not working on signs
+ Previous Track of the day and Summer 2020 trophies will be given to each player in the next few days.
