actually, it's for all emotes. i just tried it and for all of them, the sound plays half a second after the animation is finished. my friends who are on ps4 don't have this issue. i'm on ps5.

Likely a lot of players currently downloading the updates and not in the game, meaning matchmaking will take a while. (Also check you've updated the game your side!)

Try verifying your game files. I... pressed enter too early:
Launch Steam
From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.
Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
This can often sort a lot of pop-ups - let me know if it works!

Are there any updates on dealing with the increased volume of cheaters over the past couple of weeks, especially in the special shows? I've had anti-grav cheaters in 2 of my last 5 games of Jump Around.
Also is the report function going to be fixed? It's bad enough that someone has to kill themselves in-game in order to get the name of the bean that just floated up above the bars but It's even more of a hassle to have to capture gameplay and then go to the support website to file a report.
The report function is indeed being remedied, we appreciate the patience in the mean time and yeah it is a hassle. Sorry about that in the meantime.
EAC is updated quite frequently as people change their cheating methods. Usually the reason you start to see a flood is that someone discovers a way around it, and then shares it with others so they can start doing the same. If we get those reports, we can then manually ban and let EAC know what might have been used to get around the cheating systems, and then they will filter that out.

Yep! And that is now being looked into. We had our first official reports on this last week, literally the day you asked this question which is interesting!
