No, it's really tricky. We're figuring out what the best way to holistically address what you're looking at there, the complications and nuances in that kind of thing, and what makes our game unique with its own set of challenges! We are literally constantly looking into how to improve things like that, all of the time, with all updates etc. There isn't too much we can say there other than re-affirm that we are always looking at improvements, but these kinds of changes are some of the biggest. most complicated in game development really.

We managed to locate the game you were in - definitely looked like some weird things happened server-side there, this is a really rare one for us (or at least it should be). Did you get any other weird games after this or have you since?

We think these uneven spawns are mostly due to disconnects and leavers right before round starts, between the lobby filling and the show being selected, which makes it tricky. We are indeed thinking of ways to improve and add to Squads modes over time, of which scoring is one of them, but we do not have that launching in the immediacy.

Have you tried verifying your game files?

Right-click the game in your steam library, go to properties, and to Local Files, then to 'verify integrity of game files'. Run that, and start the game - see if it works!

That is definitely the bug and not population issues to me IMO, but will double check with Support to see what is happening on their side.

PS4 is really tricky indeed for logs, ack! OK for now it sounds like you've followed all the right steps for the team to look at it - just popped you a chat asking for your Support ID too so I can take a peek.

Could you let support know and send Player Logs for it, if there was an issue server side the timing there would help us identify it (or, if you know a rough window of time that you were playing and can send me over your Support ID in a message I can check with the team?)

If everyone had a spike it's worth us looking at it for sure!

Yeah, this has been heavily looked into and the team believe that they have a fix for it which is still being tested etc. Sorry it's taken a while and thanks for being patient on this sticky bug!!!

I can't speak much to why you would or wouldn't receive compensation, or the lack of continuity between that, but the latency does look really odd here to me (mind you I haven't played in a few weeks because I've been away but this doesn't look great).

Because this is Jump Showdown and we had that issue with the spinner, I am just going to double check this video by the team to see if it does look normal or not in terms of latency / desync.
