[2021] A solution to post-plant utility that gets thrown on the bomb which you can't counter right now: Brimstone's Stim Pack.

I know Brim just got some love in terms of buff's but hear me out on this if the Stim packs still won't get used as much as other abilities:

Right now there is nothing you or your teammates can do when the bomb is planted and you have 4 enemy agents all the way tucked away safely throwing their post plant damage doing abilities on the bomb like a Brimstone molly, Viper's pit, Killjoy Nanoswarm, Shock darts etc. This is especially done quite often on Icebox and is kind of a meta at Radiant/high level right now

There isn't a single direct counter to this and I think I have a suggestion that will both make Brimstone really attractive to have on your team and fix his Stim beacon being one of the least used/worst abilities in the game: A Trophy system. Essentially the Stim beacon could be reworked into an ability that when throw makes you invulnerable to abilities that DO DAMAGE as long as you're within the circle of the Stim pack. This would last the same amount of time a stim pack does right now so it can't be used all of the round, you could also reduce the amount of stim packs to 1 and make it cost 200 if it feels too strong to have two of them.

You would still obviously be able to get killed/damaged by Ultimates/Rifles but regular damage abilities will not touch you, meaning you can throw the stim beacon on top of the bomb and have an actual counter for post plant utility.

There was a post a while back to turn brimstone's stim beacon into a defuse kit like CS:GO but the bomb defuse mechanics aren't the same as CS:GO since you can take half defuses in valorant. This would be the ultimate buff for brimstone without changing the main part of his kit (smokes/molly/ult) too much (you can have the same exact animation for the stim beacon) while also having a counter to post-plant utility that gets thrown on the bomb. And a little bonus for Brim soloQ'ers: He would have his own way now of standing his ground if he gets spotted and you're stuck in a corner with no smokes, omen can teleport out you can stand your ground like a real General!
