However, they did cook with the finisher and cracked gold.
2021 Vandal kill sound is the best sound in the game. I want to bring that sound back somehow but it’s unique to that skin because the sound comes from the Die For You anthem.
I have a huge dilemma with this skin.

Have wingman defuse while your teammate shoots asteroids and you pose.

Hey folks this year is huge improvement , my main complaint why I didn't purchase last years melee and only went with vandal is fixed! The phantom is pretty sick, too. 2022 one got somewhat old and difference between low/avg frags vs 25+ frags was too big and this year its pretty smooth and even basic variant (0 kills) looks very cool. Hope to see new gun skins come to champion bundles moving forward, I think vandal/phantom only is a bit stagnating. Cheers to the team and would like to hear your opinion on bringing other guns to Champion bundles u/Riot_Preeti

u/Riot_Preeti I was wondering if the melee inspect loops like previous champions melees? This reveal shows (and probably implies) that it doesn't and would like some confirmation if possible.

Thank you! Oniram and I are really happy with how the skin turned out! My favorite Champs skin so far! I say that every year, but only because they keep getting better.
Maybe a hot take, but i don’t really care for the phantom skin. It’s bright, distracting, and I don’t think it really looks all that good. The vandal looked way cleaner imo.
It's not for everyone! Let me know if the colors grow on you. We went a lot bolder this year and tried to capture the essense of supernova.
Also wondering how people will like shooting the rocks in the finisher. It's one of my favorite parts.

Not sure how I feel. The finisher and animations are f**king awesome but the sound effects are bad which is a huge turn off for me.
I really wish Valorant let you customize skins more in general. Like let me have the other champ sound effects on this. I think thatd make them so much more money.
Sound effects are really hard to hear in the video, so I recommend you check it out in game once it's out (maybe someone will drop it for you). We worked really hard this year to make the firing sound distinct but also subtle since we heard from pros and high elo folks that they preferred more subtle firing on their Phantoms (vs. Vandal).
All the sounds are pulled from the music video anthem, so it's a lot of cool synth sounds, which might or might not be your thing!
honestly i think this frame makes it look bad, when its maxed out it will probably look really nice. I just dont understand that orb in the center though like they shouldve removed it
