Thanks @TerrorBubba, that progress should definitely be saved.
If it's been a couple years since you last played on Origin, you may need to log back in through Origin or the EA Desktop to refresh your old account info.
After that it should carry over once you sign back in through Steam, but let us know if it's still not showing up afterwards.
