Hi everyone, fairly new player here (Kruber lvl 8, Bardin 15, Kerillian 16, Victor 17 and Sienna 21, if it matters). I have been enjoying it so far but I'm an average player skillwise.

But I really enjoy the teamwork aspect of the game (ex Overwatch support player, quit because of toxicity) like healing teammates, sharing potions, not take ammo if a teammate's range icon is red, etc. I read that higher level players are more cooperative, but the problem is I'm just average skillwise, and rarely survive Veteran if the team don't stick together because I'm not skilled enough to be on my own.

I tend to share potions and end up not having anything, and nobody shares when asked. Other players just do their own thing and it takes the teamwork fun out of the game for me.

Moreover I'm at this weird spot where I can survive Veteran when playing with bots but not humans. Probably because bots stick together and I'm not skilled enough to survive/carry on my own.

Not really well versed when it comes to finding teammates online, so I guess I'll start asking for directions here.

The game's players don't appear on Steam's "recently played with" tab though, so I couldn't find the profiles of the people I played with

You can get there via the steam overlay in game, I've added a few players that way. It's definitely a huge area for opportunity /u/Fatshark_Hedge since it'd be nice to easily add friends after a run.

They should appear there unless something has changed.

Any chance a more user friendly way to add people you played with could work its way into the UI? =) Thanks for confirming!

You can open player profiles from the tab menu as well
