Welcome to the fourth War Thunder Steam Community Spotlight!
Following on from the
First,
Second and
Third War Thunder Steam Community Spotlight, the War Thunder Steam Community Management team has continued looking at the community hub for War Thunder, and have yet again spotted some outstanding screenshots, videos and artwork that our players have been creating! So once again, we’ve picked our favourites and thought that we'd share them with the rest of the Steam community. Take a look below.
Let's begin!
Featured already in our spotlight for great pencil drawings, this player has now drawn the
Fw 190 D-9[wiki.warthunder.com], a fantastic performing and looking German aircraft. Well done!
"Fw 190 D-9" by The past is like smoke[steamcommunity.com]
Another pencil sketch! This time by the player Tilkidud - they have sketched 3 different angles of the
Spitfire[wiki.warthunder.com]; and all angles look amazing. Nice work, we love it!
"I drew some spitfires" by Tilkidud[steamcommunity.com]
Another fantastic pencil sketch! This time, the famous Panzerkampfwagen VI "
Tiger[wiki.warthunder.com]", which has been beautifully drawn here and signed.
"Panzerkampfwagen VI "Tiger" by Honey[steamcommunity.com]
Desert Storm! A nice screenshot of the
Strv-122A[wiki.warthunder.com],
T-72B3[wiki.warthunder.com],
M1A1[wiki.warthunder.com] and
Leopard 2A4 (PzBtl 123)[wiki.warthunder.com] in the desert, with each tank commanded by 4 different players. Well done, guys!
"DAKADKAKDKKADKA" by Fubuki-20[steamcommunity.com]
A cleverly made screenshot with a nice explosion in the background (cool tanks don’t look at explosions) - this reminds us of the main screen artwork we made years ago, but with a cool twist! Nice work.
"Мир тундры." by 𝑰𝒃𝒖𝒌𝒊[steamcommunity.com]
A Soviet, lend-lease
M4[wiki.warthunder.com], by Yar man! The details and construction are amazing, along with the weathering across, and of course the infamous Soviet log on the side. Great work.
"Soviet m4" by Yar man[steamcommunity.com]
An outstanding 1/35 scale model of the Flakpanzer IV
Wirbelwind[wiki.warthunder.com]! It looks amazing, the paint camouflage as well as the fine details really make this model pop out, and we also spotted the funny “Devil’s Head” emblem decal that we have in the game! Fantastic work on this model!
"Flakpanzer IV/ Wirbelwind Scale /1/35" by Free^kill-74[steamcommunity.com]
More moving pixel art! This time the
Me 262 A-1a[wiki.warthunder.com] by the player “Shibus”, has really fantastic details - nice work.
"ME 262 A-1a" by Shibus[steamcommunity.com]
A
Puma[wiki.warthunder.com] in its natural habitat - flanking, spanking, and overall being annoying by the player “Pan Więcek”. We love the Puma here, embedded with the real life environment. Fantastic creative idea!
"Puma on the path" by Pan Więcek[steamcommunity.com]
Another one from the player “Pan Więcek”! This time, the
M4A2 Sherman[wiki.warthunder.com], driving down a road, probably somewhere in Western Europe. Nice creative idea here again!
"M4A2 Sherman 75" by Pan Więcek[steamcommunity.com]
Welcome to the first featured video in one of our community spotlights! This video is created by the player “theloganatorz” - featuring a very creative video kill montage, with amazing text effects and creative editing. Check it out, it’s very interesting - we love it! Nice work here, keep going!
"ENEMY - A WarThunder Kill Montage" by theloganatorz[steamcommunity.com]
A re-created screenshot of the famous stand-off between a
Panther[wiki.warthunder.com] and
M26 Pershing[wiki.warthunder.com] that we are sure you are all aware of, during the Battle of Cologne in 1945. It looks really great, nice work on this historical screenshot!
"M26 & Panther." by 𝑰𝒃𝒖𝒌𝒊[steamcommunity.com]
A goofy looking LEGO creation of the
MiG-29[wiki.warthunder.com] jet from in-game. It is so small, but looks so cool, so we have included it. Great work!
"LEGO Microscale MiG-29" by PanzerOfTheLake[steamcommunity.com]
A cool, red themed
BF 109[wiki.warthunder.com], created by the same player, “Free^kill-74”, who made the Wirbelwind above. Great models as always!
"BF109" by Free^kill-74[steamcommunity.com]
A magnificent, but not yet finished, portion of a Tiger tank, made entirely out of MATCHSTICKS! It looks really cool and certainly takes a creative mindset to create something like this out of matchsticks. It’s not yet finished, and we can’t wait to see the finished result. Fantastic work!
"pzkpfw Tiger auf H !!!! Machtstick tank model !!!" by StonePlayers[steamcommunity.com]
What’s this? That’s right, a
T-34 (1941)[wiki.warthunder.com] made entirely out of SNOW! Look how incredible that is, created by the player “Velja”, who wanted their very own tank in their backyard. Well, now they’ve got it! The tank is over 5 metres long and took several hours to build. Nice work on this! We love it.
"Snow Tank T-34 (1941) v2" by Velja[steamcommunity.com]"Snow tank T-34 (1941)" by Velja[steamcommunity.com] That's all for now!
