I just hopped back in after about a year and it seems like the game is very laggy. For example I press W, and a second later my guy walks but seems to keep walking anywhere from a few steps to a few seconds despite releasing the W key. It’s like this in most fascets of the game. Other games on my PC work fine. Is this a known issue? Something that can be done? Thank you everyone!

Hi there, @JoeyTZA.

Are you able to switch to a wired connection or is your router too far away?

Hey JVJ,

Did you make sure you're connected to the proper data center?

Hey there,

If you're running into lag and high ping issues we should try a few things to see if we can help fix that. When you have the chance can you try running through the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website? Those can help with a lot of common issues, so it's a good place to start.

If you're still having any problems after that check out the platform-specific steps as well:

- PC

- Xbox

- PlayStation

Please let me know if you're still having trouble after you've been able to give these steps a shot. Thanks!

Hey @wojta95

Which datacenter do you connect to? Have you tried switching to any others to test and see if that makes a difference at all?

@wojta95

Got it, thanks. Which platform do you play on?

@wojta95

Thanks! Can we try setting a different DNS in Windows to see if that makes any difference at all? I've seen some cases where changing the DNS can help with similar issues.

You can change the DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. For more information on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website. If you choose the Manual option you can enter a DNS of your choosing.

I usually go with the public Google DNS (Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8; Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but if there's a different DNS you would prefer using that's OK as well. Please let me know how it goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot.

Thanks again!

Hey there, Obi! Thank you for sharing this with us! We really want everyone to have an equal chance to play Bloodhunt and have an amazing vampire-slaying experience, so it is really unfortunate to hear that this issue has occurred. However, I would strongly suggest you to send a ticket to our Support team and explain them the situation in details, so they can investigate further and provide you with a possible solution / explanation to the problem:

Hey CMDR,

This sounds like a latency issue.

Are you using a wired connection to play?

Feel free to send us a support ticket via: https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us/requests/new so that the team can take a look.
