Stay tuned to the news.
Stay tuned to the news.
Nothing to do with me I'm afraid. Our testers are simply made to showcase the essence of the update and very briefly reflect on the theme.
I was not any of the voices this time, only the British bias last teaser.
Done, but we don't have the numbers anymore
We haven't used numbers for major update titles for over a year now. Just the names.
This has never been the case. It's a teaser.
Italy is still the newest fleet to the game. We are constantly working on expanding new ships for everyone and progressing the technology level in pace with what players wish for and ask to see. New vehicles are in development for all Naval trees.
Indeed. Personal preference. As I work with bugs / feedback a lot, numbers are more prevalent, but also for CM duties, the names stick a lot ))
There is no AIM-9L this update.
B-47 has not been confirmed at all. Its not coming.
Stay tuned to the news.
Yes.
I mean we have quite literally already said at this stage there is going to be a Vautour jet replacement. Hence the yes.
He is drastically overacting after 4 blogs and me staying stay tuned to the news.
France got a yes, as we have already established there is going to be a Vautour replacement.
Because we are 4 blogs in. As you know we don't deny or confirm much this early, as much as some of you try and try and again every time pretending to forget how things work from last time ))
Some very obviously not coming things yes. Doesn't mean we do it for everything.
I dont think comparing a MiG-29 to another capital ship is the same at all in any capacity. I think its very obvious why we would deny something like the MiG-29, particularly when that was before we even had the MLD.
We have only shown a Teaser and what's planned for the IAF.
The Mirage IIIE has never been the cause for delay of any French aircraft.
A new tree being introduced has nothing to do with French bug fixes. What matters is proper information and all the necessary and required source material.
I would encourage you to remain on topic as this is now turning into a vent / rant.
The MLD was planned long before you asked about it. Vehicles take several months worth of work just to make the 3D side. Some far longer.
Spamming about something in the RR topic doesn't make it appear faster.
We dont only add progressively more and more technologically advanced vehicles. Very frequently we add lower rank machines of all eras.
The G model is also a Wild Weasel with ARMs. For which we do not have any currently in game.
Nowhere did I or any other CM deny the MLD for the Ground Breaking patch. Please do not make false statements.
Its known thanks.
There was only one major FM report that was actioned and implemented on the Lightning. In many cases, it was actually implemented with some key performance areas above where it should have been.
Unfortunately, the aircraft was very much the subject of unrealistic expectations set by many, including those who tried to edit the Wikipedia article for the aircraft to create nonsensical performance levels.
See we told you to stay tuned to the news
https://warthunder.com/en/news/7448-development-type-10-making-the-good-better-en
All 3 shown were previously seen in the summer. This is just guesswork.
Allow me to confirm that it is not in fact accurate in any way.
Nope.
To early to say right now.
British pilots might have a little surprise to come that I don't think will be expected. Nothing major, but cool none the less.
There is already a plethora of Meteors in the British tree. So at least for now, it's not in this update.
Russia has more aircraft to introduce than several nations combined. This is also a variant of an existing aircaft.
Scharnhorst and shipborn aircraft for those of you not watching the stream
CVs generally had whole squadrons of attack aircraft rather than just one light scout. Both are very far apart and given the dominance of aircaft carriers over more traditional naval forces, it's not something we plan at all right now.
No phase is ever over. We constantly add to all ranks.
The US also receives and will continue to receive lots of aircraft.
France was a quite large user of the Spitfire and Seafire. So it's relivant they have one too.
It's too early to talk about at this stage. But variants can always be possible.
Indeed. France will also receive the Mirage 5, it's just not ready to show right now.
No. Only aviation packs or or meeting the criteria for unlock.
Mirage 5 is the only Mirage this update for France. As well as the Seafire.
Yes.
Guys this is off topic.
All of the content shown today is work in progress. We have over 2000+ vehicles in game, each hugely complicated models with tons of background work and research. When you have that many vehicles and replicate them in as much detail as we do, mistakes can happen.
Wait for the Dev severs and if you believe something is wrong, submit a bug report. Any other discussions can be taken to PM.
I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, but it's not planned to be. It's not rank V and not the Vautour replacement.
China has been receiving vehicles almost every update. Unfortunately not every nation can get new vehicles each update.
All of the vehicles coming this update are new models. The Seafire was chosen in the first place for the very reason that it can be a joint addition for the UK and France. Equally it's important for both as it was used by the Aeronavale. It was one of the most used variants by France. Mirage 5 is also a new model and the Leclerc is also a seperate model.
None of these vehicles are reskins and all are new models different from anything in game.
As already explained, Russia has far more vehicles than most nations to add. Comparing Russia to China is irrelevant.
That's not how models work at all. The Seafire and Mirage 5 are entirely new. Leclerc is also a seperate model.
Bug reports are generally not tied to a major update. We fix bugs in every update.
What you are asking is very unspecific.
The visual model is different. It is not the same.
The Seafire III is not in game. It is a new model. Mirage 5 is a new model. Leclerc is also a different model.
A similar list can be made for every nation in game. The list for Russia is even longer, so I'm not sure what your point is here.
This is simply straying off topic now.
As I said, it was chosen spesifically so it could be given to France also. So this is pretty meaningless. Both nations had it and it was significant for the Aeronavale.
It's selective counting.
France has multiple new vehicles this patch. Again, not everything can come at once. It has nothing to do with "not enough options".
All nations receive different vehicles every update. They are not all supposed to be direct counterparts.
Not this update. There are already multiple Meteors in the British tree for research.
Nobody is being insulted. I was explaining how the models are not the same. No matter what someone's personal opinion is on what is or what is not a "copy / paste". They are all new visual models that required artists work.
There are 5 Meteors already in the British tree with a 6th being premium. At this moment in time, another one is not necessary. It's not been ruled out for future potential.
Whataboutism is irrelevant here. It simply is not immediately needed in the British tree for this update. Thus it was not planned to come now. As I just said, it has not been ruled out for future updates.
This was one of the most requested versions and is also an important version for the French tree. A new meteor is not necessary at this time for the British tree. But is possible for the future perhaps.
Argentinian vehicles have been within the German tree for some time.
None of this is relivant to this topic. We have already clarified the Mirage F.1 is not coming this update. So the discussion can be taken to a more relivant topic.
No.
22 was an export model. So no. But other variants are not ruled out.
Multiple nations other than Germany also used it that are also present in the Russian tree. Again, other variants have not been ruled out.
I would encourage you to leave your feedback in the changelog on this
New shells are kept for when a tanks performance calls for it, such as the recent changes. As we have explained before, the Leclercs are already 11.0 and at the upper end of that in performance. A new shell is not necessary at the moment, however we will continue to monitor the situation and if required, review the case at a future date.
Not with this update at least. The future, perhaps possible.
Lots of tanks don't have their top possible shell. This is not new and not exclusive to the Leclerc. All shell choices are always with game balance in consideration.
Nobody is being made fun of. The existing Leclercs are still on the upper end of 11.0. Currently they are not showing any need statistically for an additional shell, however the developers will continue to monitor them and if the situation changes, new shell choices can be considered.
Not for the time being. Its main niche is better in this way from a gameplay perspective.
Both are variants of existing aircraft. Italy does not really have anything viable for 11.0, which is why we added AIM-9J for F-104S. However both Italy and France have new high rank aircraft in development.
Russia has far more aircraft to add than both nations.
F-104S ASA has all aspect AIM-9L, which indeed is too much right now. AiM-9L is a drastic improvement over any current all aspect missile.
Mirage F.1 has nothing to do with "too good". We are working on new top aircraft for France, however it will not be ready this update. The developers are aware of demand for one and doing all they can for that.
If we back off adding things for nations like Russia, we will simply reach a point where some nations entirely run out of content to add and yet Russia will just keep receiving things. All nations have things in development, and a Russian aircraft does not come "instead of" any French or other aircraft. That's not how development works. All nations have content in development.
Please make a bug report, this is not the place.
F-4S is a different variant.
Not with this update. Models are not just snapped up in an instant. Many similar jets of this type are requested for several nations who have close counterparts. None of them are in the game yet.
Again, its not planned currently. Its also not possible to make it a vehicle like that, that quickly. Id recommend starting a suggestion for it, or leave feedback in the offical changelog discussion.
Please submit a historical report and any additional weaponry / equipment can be passed for consideration.
Initial starting BRs are simply where the aircraft is placed. The aircraft is similar to the French one and BRs can always change depending on how it does in game.
As already made clear, new top aircraft are already in development for France. They just received one of the most advanced and longest standoff CAS weapons in the game last update and we will continue to expand the line of fighters too.
I
France has already had a Crotale system for several updates which is a better platform overall. Suggestions are welcome on upgrade packages or variants for the French platform. But one is not "instead of the other".
This is a mostly German project anyway, and France has its own vehicles it can receive with autoloading turrets of this nature. Its also worth noting, in the forum suggestion for this, the majority of people wanted this to come for Germany:
Im not sure what point you are trying to make here as these are two entirely separate vehicles and cases with no relation at all. France received the Ito 90M because its a better platform over the M113 and the later was not required being an export model with the Ito 90M already present.
This case has long been discussed and answered before and picking one of the several reasons why the Ito 90M was chosen over the M113 chassis is completely irrelevant to a different vehicle of a different nature and an entirely different case all together.
Nobody is being insulted here and im really not sure how any of this twisted application of previous explanations is in any way relevant here.
Vehicles are deployed to the most relevant and applicable nations. Because a certain component may have been made or produced in one country, does not mean the vehicle will automatically be placed there. This has never been the case.
Several nations dont have a top 11.3 jet currently. The Mirage IIIs were also just moved down to 10.3, so they will face 11.3s far less.
Captured aircraft indeed do exist in the game. But not every captured aircraft is added.
France has several of their own platforms with this turret that are also planned. If everything with a French turret had to be included in the French tree, it will ultimately end up with a very strange scenario.
I would encourage you to leave your feedback in the offical changelog topic on the matter, we are forwarding all comments on. But the sarcasm and other unneeded discussions taking place here are not helping the situation in any capacity.
Its not identical. Both have some small differences. The French one simply is not fully ready to show yet. Not all vehicles for the update are.
The same situation as always. Those that have the Israeli one keep it, IIN is a separate aircraft to replace it.
Because if we added every vehicle to every tree, simply on the basis of them having made the turret, or the engine, or the gun or some other fairly major component, it simply opens the claim to everything for pretty much everyone when its just not needed. By the same logic, every aircraft that mounts a sidewinder belongs in the US tree.
You are comparing Rank VI premiums to a Rank V. They are not the same. This is replacing the Vautour.
We have already said France will receive a Rank VI premium. Just not with this update.
Most nations use US technology or Russian technology. As the game progresses, this will become even more prevalent.
Lots of vehicles can be collaborative projects. On the DF-105 however, the most French element is the turret. As I have already explained, we are open to feedback as always, so a constant back and forth on this is not necessary.
A technological link has never been the sole requirement. As I have already explained, Germany already has Argentinian vehicles within its tree.
This was not the point at all. They do not receive everything into their tree based solely on the fact they made a component. However you have made you established your point long ago and the discussion can cease.
Those nations do not receive additions based on the fact they made components or weaponry for vehicles. All nations sold or exported technology, that's simply a fact of military equipment.
None of this discussion has any relevance to this topic any more.
France has several of its own "homemade tier V aircraft". Ouragan, Barougan, MD.452 IIA, MD.452 IIC as well as Vautour IIA and B.
France is also receiving multiple domestic vehicles this update.
Its very clear you do not, however an explanation has already been provided
Argentina is already present there with several vehicles. This was also outlined with the SK-105.
Steam profiles are sometimes incomputable with the dev server. Please submit a report with your error code and clog.
USSR received the MiG-21F-13 before the SMT and MiG-23M before the MLD.
Germany just received the MiG-21Bis SAU and its rank 6 premium SPS last update. So not with this update.
Nothing is preventing it. As we have already said, new top aircraft for France are already in development. We are working on them.
A modification is not ruled out for the future.
Germany from this point onwards typically used later modifications of other nations aircraft up until they began developing domestically. As of right now, the F-4F is performing to a reasonable degree at 11.0 and the MiG-21Bis also supporting there.
As I said, newer additions are also planned. However some nations do not even have an 11.0 yet.
Vehicles can take a considerable amount of time and research to fully materialize. As we have previously said, it can be longer for some than others.
Regardless, its not for this update, so not relevant to this topic.
The F-104S was only just moved to 10.7 due to its AIM-9Js.
A new top MBT right after last update with a new top BB and top CAS jet is quite a lot.
Not this patch.
Seafire III and Su-22 for me. Saw several Su-22s in Poland last week, so I have the bug to fly one
Sweden has very few aircraft in general and I was more referring to closer counterparts than the Sk-60. As I said many nations are waiting on counterparts. The Sk-60 is a very loose one simply in that its a trainer.
The Seafire III is probably the most requested FAA aircraft that was not in game. It was also used by the Aeronavale, which was an important part of consideration when planning it.
Other FAA aircraft remain possible. But the Seafire III was a stalwart for both the FAA and Aeronavale.
Im well aware of the aircraft and its capabilities. But its direct counterparts for the nations that have them are well known and as already explained, are also not present in game. We are aware of demand for this aircraft and have plans for the future, taking into consideration those other nations vehicles too. But its not relevant for this topic.
This is entirely irrelevant to the context I was referring to and entirely off topic. A defence of every single possible Swedish vehicle possible is not necessary. All of these vehicles are known.
Vehicle classification in game is subject to in game classification. Not IRL classification. Its the same for aircraft and ground forces too.
In game classification takes into account the context of all ships and all examples, how they are used and operated and their features. Classifications can change if the role does.
I have just explained above how our classifications work. Its very clear you hold an opinion of what you wish it to be and thats not going to change. Im just here to clarify why it is how it is in game
More possibilities may present themselves over time. Much in the same ways you mentioned for other modes.
Im certainly going through a lot of coffee today, thats for sure.
It might not be on every single ship from launch, the devs are aiming to get as many as possible and any others will be worked on in due course as far as can be.
https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/forum/2153-dev-server-bug-reports/
Not for the time being, but the feature is still in its infancy.
I would encourage you to leave your feedback here: https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/541705-feedback-scout-aircraft-in-naval-battles/
Please be sure to add your thoughts:
We are gathering all feedback
Not right now as it's too early. Stay tuned to the news.
Seafire III was introduced because it was one of the primary fighters of both the FAA and was also planned from the start to be introduced into the French tree for the Aeronaval. It was a long requested aircraft and as we have already said, a British NF Meteor has not been ruled out entirely, just not this update at least. A second MBT provides a second 11.0 backup which is key for most tankers. Other new vehicle's are in the works, but not everything can come at once.
New ships are always in development for in game nations fleets, however Britain also just received HMS Marlborough. So another one will not be so close by, particularly not this update for certain.
The changes affected all SACLOS / MCLOS missiles and they now more correctly conform to the laws of what is physically possible using the data available. Naturally, we welcome any feedback and reports, but these clips don't really do much in the way of that. Previously these missiles were able to simply break certain laws of physics. Now they are fully conformant to them as are all missiles of this type.
We are however checking out all the current examples to make sure everything is as intended.
