Repair costs are not calculated based on a comparison of X or Y variant. They are calculated on the individual economics of that particular aircraft and how it earns / losses in game.

They may return in some form in the future. But there are currently no plans to return them for Golden Eagle purchase.

Updates:

After the results of the testing session, the parameters for calculating useful action rewards has been corrected, based on a longer median lifetime and lower RP gaining rate. Reward for vehicles in the lower ranks has been increased (data in the table are updated).
