[2022] Pre update worlds are now insanely laggy post update

So the most recent update dropped some time ago but I basically live off the grid with no wifi, only data, but I play worldbox on my Samsung tablet that has no access to anything. So for the longest time I was playing with an older version of the game. (Not too old, just from the last update before this recent one)

Anyway I was a few days out from going on vacation to areas I know I’ll have access to the internet to finally update the game, and so I made an entire world just for this new update that I can use and place new races I’m able to unlock via the gift box instead of just using humans 24/7. I left areas open for the new additions that this update would bring, such as the arcane desert which had a huge part in this worlds lore I had already begun to fill in. It would be the orcs starting home.

Well now that my game is updated, it works perfectly fine. Everything is working as it should…. Except for this world I built specifically for the update. The amount of lag I am receiving on this world is not like anything I’ve experienced before. Yes we all know that bigger world tend to have lag when kingdoms begin to grow in size, dominating the map, but this isn’t that. I haven’t even been able to place anything on this world yet, and the amount of lag I’m getting is insufferable. It takes literal minutes to zoom in or out, and it’ll start to zip across the map from my frustration.

And before you ask, it’s not the game. I created new worlds to test to see how they performed, and like I said previously, everything was working perfectly. No lag. No rubberbanding. But my world I build before the update is completely trashed now cause it just won’t work. Is this a bug that can be fixed or is the world done for? And is anyone else experiencing this too or is it just me?

This world loads in just fine, and boots up as it always does. But as soon as I begin to do anything on it, look around, placing the new ore or trying out new biomes, instant lag. The lag begins as soon as I start to move around so it doesn’t leave much to be done anyway.
