While I do think the update is good I think it definitely should have been broken into multiple updates. It would've helped the waiting period be better and may have allowed some of the systems to be more in depth since Maxim wouldn't have to juggle Subspecies, Religion/Language/Culture, Bug fixes, and Stats ui
It was not possible because every new thing literally touched/needed every other new thing
the update isn't even out yet though and the beta gets lots of complaints, like the religion magic being op or entire empires dying suddenly for no reason
A beta is a beta. It's there to find bugs and to finish up balancing. The "complaints" ( or reports ) are the sole purpose to have the open beta in the first place.
