The issue with the Wraithlord is the reason this bug was investigated and corrected. It’s possible other issues could have been caused by this, though I do not have a list. If you’re encountering any bugs, please do report them via the in-game bug report tool for the team to have a look at!

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where certain minions could enter a state where they can’t be affected by abilities, causing Wraithlords to get stuck endlessly trying to consume them

We have a potential fix in testing for the Wraithlord incidental bug that got added after fixing characters instantly reviving after death in rare instances.

This isn’t technically an issue with warpath, but rather the level and needs to be fixed on a case by case basis. If you’ve encountered this in a specific area, please submit a bug report with a screenshot of where it’s occurring for our level design team to look into that spot.

Cleric’s Hammer is a trigger itself, a trigger cannot trigger a trigger. If Cleric’s Hammer triggered Healing Hands, it could go into an infinite loop.

Upcoming Bazaar Sales Cleanup

Hello Travelers!

Alongside today’s Patch Notes, we also wanted to provide notice that on Monday, May 20th, we will be cleaning up all records of Redeemed and Cancelled auctions from the Bazaar. This means closed listings prior to the May 20th cleanup will no longer be displaying on your redeem page. With 1.1, we will be introducing an automated cleanup for this, which will remove old Redeemed and Cancelled auctions after a given time period.

OK, let’s get into it. Before I get too far, the specific details on exact timings, speed, cooldown, interactions and everything else is still very much up for adjustments and will almost guaranteed change between now and 1.1 launch. The start of my Evade description post starts by saying that these are the details for the version that we are doing internal testing on. It still has to go through that and to our CT program before it gets a 1.1 launch version. So, lots of stuff here will see adjustments between now and then. All I can describe is the version that we are testing now.

I believe Evade is currently slightly faster than walking. However, if the goal is the optimize, spamming Evade between packs is not necessarily going to be any better. I have been testing this out a bunch and I have consistently posted slower times on echoes when I use Evade as a traversal skill. Having it as a tool to quickly reposition in combat saves more time for me than spamming it between pac...

Because the goal is to slightly increase battlefield repositioning potential, not give a significant increase to overall traversal speed. Reducing the cooldown on traversal skills would have the intended effect but would also have an unintended downside. This does not share that downside. We also would prefer to have the option of taking a traversal skill or not continue to be an option. It would also require dramatic changes to each traversal skill which would result in the removal of many mechanics that people really enjoyed. In offline the “reset” in 1.1 is really just a fresh gameplay character environment opening up. You’re right, it’s all saved offline so if you want to do some editing and keep using the same character but “on the cycle” you can do that. It’s just a text file on your computer.

If you’re referring to the survey, it separates online cycle from all of online legacy, offline cycle and offline legacy.

Some big draws to play online is access to the Bazaar and playing with other people.

We don’t have LAN support because we didn’t have a few thousand spare dev hours to spend on it. I know it might seem like an easy one but it is one of the largest potential features that we could consider adding. We are not considering adding it.

I’ll say I was not a believer in dodge roll (evade) before the team prototyped it and we got to play with it. It feels good and we believe people will agree when they get their hands on it.

No we’re not going to make regular Epoch content require lighting fast reflexes because of this addition. Maybe the pinnacle boss? We’ll see as we’re still balancing the fight.

Just another note - I want to emphasize how much the roadmap leaves out. Look at any of our other major patch notes and consider we’re only getting faster and adding more team members.

We’re happy to see all the discussion regarding the new Evade mechanic we’re planning to include in 1.1. We have noticed that discussions can be hard to have without the full details about this new mechanic. As such, we’re posting a breakdown of the current implementation that we are internally testing here to help with the discussion.

Evade is a new universal movement ability for characters from level 1. This is a new tool to add onto your existing tool belt. We expect this to be a fun new mechanic that opens up new build opportunities and spices up combat.

Yup, this is something I went on a rant about roughly 3 weeks ago on stream. I got out the paint and did up a messy graph to try and articulate myself but the issue I was outlying boiled down to essentially what you’re talking about in the monolith.

Like new parents, I think we’ve been a little too worried about preventing players from getting themselves into a too difficult spot and it’s left us not allowing players who are ahead of the curve the room to run.

The boots raise the difficulty before reaching empowered monoliths.

The 3rd suggestion the OP left starts with “Do something about the early game for alt characters.”

The boots do something about the early game for alt characters.

I didn’t see mention of the boots in the post, thought they fit the description of what OP wanted and they line up with one of their suggestions.

This wasn’t a sarcastic “well have you tried…” type comment. I was putting forward a potential solution that was already in game. It isn’t exactly what they were after and that’s fine. I still think it was a reasonable and appropriate suggestion.
