picture of my horde night. not a damn zombie in sight. even logged off and logged back in, saw a zombie for a second but then nothing. am i just too far away to hear them or something?

Yeah, you’re very high up and it’s likely you’re too far away to hear them. Right now I’m working on a tower prototype 24 blocks above the ground. I can’t hear zombies at ground level, even when they’re actively coming after me, until they get closer.

If they don’t have a path to you, it’s likely you’ll find evidence that zombies were there in the form of exterior damage at ground level.
