Child Zombies

TFP has been very adamant that they will not ever add child zombies.

Your only hope for seeing this in the game is through a mod.

It's kindof like the way movie ratings work; There's a certain amount of content that can fly under the rating, but once it reaches a given critical mass, the rating goes up. You can have one or two swear words and some mild violence and still be PG-13, add something vaguely sexual and now it's rated R. Take away the mild violence and half the swear words and it can be PG-13 again (assuming the vaguely sexual thing is vague enough, anyway)

In games, It's similar- If you blow all your 'ratings budget' on a bunch of other things, you can't get away with others and still maintain your rating.

Dead Space kindof slid by because they were babies; not children, and only especially identifiable as a baby because of the head specifically- the rest of the body bears little resemblance to a human baby especially when it's tentacles are out.

It's a big old game of "please the ratings board". And imo it's dumb, but not much we can do about it.
