Title explains it all. My graphics card is maybe 3 months beyond the recommended settings based on canyourunit.com but when I originally bought the game my graphics card as considered up to date. Well it only isn't according to their system because there are always new graphic cards coming out. I know Valhalla is very demanding but everything loads fine until I try and start a new game, then I'm stuck on a black screen after the music fades out. I've tried everything according to Ubisoft to fix this issue and nothing works. I even uninstalled the game, verified files, updated windows, NVIDIA and MSI dragon center for updates and everything is current. I've even attached the 2 logs that Ubisoft recommended. Still waiting on their reply but I don't know how long they'll take to respond with help. Can anyone help me figure out why the game is crashing? I've tried some fixes on YouTube and no dice. Also, how do I attach the 2 files MSI and the Dx Diag from run? Ubisoft literally keeps giving me this message every time I try it: "Error, you don't have enough privileges for this action". [censored] does this mean? o.O

@Tinytot87 Hey there, sorry to hear you're running into these issues launching the game!

I took a look at the files you submitted via our support site, and I noticed a lot of errors related to various .dll files. To resolve this, I recommend updating your Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. You'll want to use the most recent package on that page.

I also see a lot of startup programs on your system, so I recommend running the game with nothing in the background to test if one of those programs is conflicting with the game.

Hey @Tinytot87

I'm sorry that you are still experiencing this issue with Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.

Could you please try this procedure:

1. Press Windows key and i key together to open Settings.
2. In the Settings window, click System.
3. Then click Display tab from the left panel.
4. Then choose Advanced graphics settings.
5. In the pop-up window, uncheck the option Enable fullscreen optimizations.

Please let us know if, after trying the procedure mentioned above, the issue persists.

Hello! My apologies for the late reply, and that you haven't heard a response on your support case just yet. We have a large backlog of contacts that our agents are currently working through but I assure you your case will be reviewed as soon as possible.

For now, I would like for you to try reinstalling the game on a different drive if possible. (We recommend installing Ubisoft Connect and the game on whichever drive your Windows operating system is installed on, usually the C drive) Test the game after this.

Next, use the system file checker tool then verify game files again (test game after). Reinstall supporting software then update your GPU immediately after, then restart your PC. You'll need to restart your PC otherwise these steps won't work properly. Then test the game.

I hope these steps help!
