I try the default 'hold c' but I cannot for the life of me drop down. I found nothing online of people having trouble. Does anyone have tips or tricks to position yourself to drop down instead of jumping over?
(for a memory refresher- this is the location where you find the key in the pig's mud pile, and then have to shoot down a rope holding a stack of logs so you can drop down into the cellar)

I'm sorry to hear that you've had trouble dropping down into the cellar in Alrekstad. Thanks for sharing your report with us. @SpirantCrayon22 shares some great suggestions you could try, such as approaching from different angles or changing your approach speed by sprinting.
If you're still unable to drop down into the basement, would you be able to send us a video of this so we can take a closer look? I'd recommend uploading the video footage to a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, as this will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread.

Hey there @Bucky_Goldstein , thanks for reaching out! Many thanks to @SpirantCrayon22 for once again contributing advice on this. As far as i can see, we'd not had any other reports of any similar issues, so I'm confident we'll be able to get to the bottom of this one with local troubleshooting.
@Bucky_Goldstein , could you try rebinding this action to another key (even though it works fine in other situations)? Or, even better, if you've got a gamepad available, please try temporarily using the gamepad to see if you can perform the required action.
A video showing that Eivor won't do as they are told will really help us out with looking into this internally. On PC, we often recommend recording gameplay footage using the Xbox Game Bar, since you should already have it installed, and then the video can be uploaded to any video- or file-sharing website (such as YouTube) so you can send us a link to it here in the thread.
