Hey everyone! Sorry about that, you should have your pets if you've redeemed them and linked your accounts properly. Did you press "Proceed" when you were prompted to "Redeem Purchased Items"? It should look like this.[cdn.discordapp.com]

If you haven't then please do so that you can get your items back! If you ignored it, it should pop up whenever you restart your game, or delete your PlayerPrefs file and restart to get it to pop up. If it didn't show up or you are having trouble, email us at [email protected] so we can help you out!

  • Bans of up to 6 hours after disconnecting/leaving a game (intentional or unintentional)
  • People no longer get empty Pods despite having a Cosmicube activated

Update: if you're running into this issue, we pushed out a maybe-fix in the public beta branch. (Library > Right click Among Us > Properties > Betas > Select "public-beta".) Try it out and whether it works or doesn't, would still love to see your player log! Thanks for the patience. :)

Gotcha, thanks everyone, sorry aobut the issues!

Can you send us your player logs?
1. Boot up the game, try to log into the account, then try to log into guest mode. (This should fail.) Don't quit the game, just leave it as is!
2. Send your Player Log. To find the right file, put "%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Innersloth\Among Us" (no quotes) in an explorer browser and find the file Player.log or Player
3. Email that file to support(at)innersloth.com, subject line: "SteamworksAuthFail"

We'll get to figuring it out!

Heya! We're pushing out updates, but a lot of this happens if not everyone in the game has updated to the latest version. iOS is still waiting on approval from the store to get pushed, but hopefully handled soon! Sorry about that :)

This shouldn't be a problem for Steam users, since steam updates automatically, but if you are not on v2020.9.9, you will not be able to play Among Us online soon.

If you are currently in a room, it will still work, but you will not be able to join or create any new rooms. You must update to v2020.9.9.

If you get incorrect version errors, please make sure you are on version 2020.9.9 (visible in the upper left on the main menu)

Edit: This should no longer be an issue in 2020.9.9

There is a bug where if you change regions while connecting, the game may overwrite your region data with the wrong region. This makes you connect to the wrong region later. It can easily cause room codes to not be found. You can fix this by deleting the serverInfo2 file found at

%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Innersloth\Among Us

Then restart Among Us.

Hey all,

So I put out this post a few days ago, and have been working on server fixes. As a result, things have been smoothing out even above 1M players in NA. But now I need to put in longer room codes to really reduce the load, so beta branch has v2020.9.9 (or newer if we find bugs) which can handle 4 or 6 digit codes.

2020.9.9 can join 2020.9.1 rooms, but if 2020.9.9 creates a room, it should always get a 6 digit room code. 2020.9.1 cannot join ... Read more
