Hey, so I'm dying to play High Life, but keep getting this error whether I use DX12 or or 11 about 45 seconds into the game. The last update I saw on the old forums was this:

1: Install Nvidia driver 457.51
2. Disable G-sync and V-sync
3: Make sure windows page file is automatic and on ALL drives.
4: Try directx 11
5: Run uplay in offline mode.
6: Keep windows and other drivers up to date.
7: Try verify files in uplay
8: Delete DX shader cache in disk cleanup.

Can anyone give me some help on where to do points 2 (just G sync), 3, and 8? Thanks!

@jacksonw140 Hi there,

Sorry to hear this has been happening.
I'd recommend trying step 2 before the others. Your Vsync settings can be found in-game by navigating to Options > Graphics > Enable Vsync. I appreciate this may not be easy if the game crashes shortly after startup.

Would you also be able to try verifying the game files if this has not been done already. Steps on how to do this can be found here.

Hope this helps!

Hey there,

Thank you for your update, sorry to hear that those troubleshooting steps have not helped.

It would be great if we could take a look at your DxDiag and MsInfo files so we can investigate deeper.

Would it be possible to share these with us in a new case?

Many thanks
