Under the Resident quest set by an Artisan, you are supposed to find a farm family to take in the Artisan. One farm family is at one of your pubs, another is at one of your marketplaces and yet another farm family is at a church. Each time you choose one of the families, the Artisan is supposed to say something unsane that disqualifies the family. At the last family, you are supposed to get the reward. I assume... In my case, I choose one of the families and the Artisan awards the prize, then later on bemoans the fact that I did not find the other two families. I have the reward, but I am curious what he is going to say. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Hey HAlanMontgomery, thanks for getting in touch and bringing this to our attention.

This is certainly unusual and after having a closer look, I wasn't able to identify any similar reports.

Can I just check if you're able to proceed with your progression within the save file?

This particular quest is supposed to have three replies from the Artisan before he awards the prize. Having him award the prize immediately without the three replies is very odd. I would note that I have had the quest go correctly a few times since April 2019, but not very often, maybe twice out of the hundred times I have tried it.

Thank you for your help.
Hey there,

Thank you for your update, it is great to hear that you were able to progress. It is also interesting to hear that this doesn't happen every time.

Can I check that each time you do the exact same things and nothing seems to trigger this?

Many thanks,
