[2022] Why isn't technical support able to reset achievements?

As it stands, we just don't have the facilities available to reset a player's achievements.

It may also be possible that rolling back achievements can lead to issues in them being unlocked in future - hence why the facility isn't available.

This issue is believed to have been resolved though.

Since your achievements are still unlocked, could you give the following workaround a try;

1. Disable Cloud save sync in Ubisoft Connect > Settings
2. Rename accountdata.a7s in ..\Documents\Anno 1800\accounts\\
3. Rename folder "4553" ..\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\
4. Launch the game and verify that the achievements are same in-game as in Uisoft Connect
5. Enable cloud save sync in Ubisoft Connect's settings again
6. Close the game (you might need to open and close again to trigger a save sync)
7. The new fixed accountdata.a7s should sync with cloud and your achievements should be locked again.

Unfortunately, if Ubisoft Connect itself is showing your achievements as unlocked it is not possible to reset the progress towards those achievements at this time.
