I know this isn't anything of great importance, but it just bothers me personally, but hopefully i can get some help on it. I just installed a new SSD into my computer and looking to get all my games on it, so I installed Anno 1800 on it and instead of the normal Anno 1800 desktop icon, i get just a globe icon. I tried unistalling and installing, i tried changed the icon manually by searching for the icon and it changes in the properties window, but the actual icon stays the same. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey DeviantWolf,

Not sure why that would be happening. Did you install the game properly through Uplay, or did you just move the files from the old drive to the new drive?

Hello, I can try to help with this!

Do you own the game in Ubisoft Connect, or another launcher such as Origin?

Have you tried deleting then re-creating the shortcut? In Ubisoft Connect simply right click on the game, then you will see the option.

Thank you!

Hello everyone!

I tested this on my PC however Anno 1800 still seems to keep the logo.

- Do you have Ubisoft Connect & the game installed on the same drive?
- Are they installed on the default C:\ drive, or another drive?

Try verifying game files, just in case the image is being lost: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000060529

My main thought is that this could be a permissions issue. Maybe UC & Anno are installed in a location with less permissions.

Thank you!
