I got Anno 1800 through the ubisoft+ subscription service.

The game runs horribly and when I go to the graphics settings, my RTX 2070 doesn't even show up on the list, only intel graphics.

No other game does this, including ubisoft games.

Hey there @fartenjoyer22 ,

Thank you for getting in touch.

If you haven't done so already, could you please give the steps in this guide a try to use the Nvidia Control Panel and ensure your dedicated RTX 2070 is being used?

Please let us know how you get on and if you need any further help at all!

Thanks for the update @fartenjoyer22 .

Further to the guide I've provided, could you please try disabling your integrated graphics from the Display Adapter section of your Device Manager?

This should force your PC to use your RTX card in any circumstance.

Please give this a try and let us know if there's still no change.

Thank you!

Hey @jho728 ,

Thanks for reaching out, sorry to hear you're also having issues.

Could you please try disabling your integrated graphics in Device Manager?

This is done by opening Device Manager > Clicking on your Intel UHD Graphics > Click Disable.

With it disabled, this should stop it being detected all together.

Please let us know if this then allows you to use your RTX card in-game!

Hey there @SilverRATPL , thanks for reaching out about this. I understand that you've found issues in Anno 1800 after disabling your integrated graphics card, and I'll be happy to give you some pointers on this.

To clarify our earlier advice, laptops which have dedicated graphics cards also still have integrated graphics on the motherboard, and sometimes games struggle to choose one. Therefore, in those situations, we recommend following these steps to force games to use your dedicated graphics card.

Is that the situation you've found yourself in, and are now unable to choose your dedicated graphics card in-game? If so, I'd recommend running through our troubleshooting guide in addition to the above steps. In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running the game with administrator rights, you've verified the game files, you've got your graphics drivers and Windows install fully updated, and you don't have any background programs which could interfere with the game.

If I've misunderstood and the issue you've had is different, can you describe it to me? What was happening when you played Anno that lead to needing to troubleshoot your graphics settings?

Let me know if I can clarify these steps or questions!
