For Anno 1800, there are 2 folders created for the game. One of them is located on the hard drive, and contains folders such as "bin, data, support, etc.".
The other one is created when you start a new game. It is automatically located in the Documents folder and contains "account, benchmarks, screenshots, log, etc". As the game progresses, this folder becomes larger over time. For example, it is taking 4GB of hard drive space right now for me.
My Documents folder is located within OneDrive (Windows 10). My OneDrive quota is 5GB, which is standard for OneDrive basic. I want to keep the Documents there. However, I want to move the Anno 1800 game folder to another hard drive so that it doesn't fill up my OneDrive quota.
How can I do that?

Hey there @xerxes-aria , thanks for reaching out. I understand you're keen to be able to move your save game files for Anno 1800 to another default folder, and I appreciate you sending over this question.

This is not a feature we have available - it always needs to be stored in that folder. However, I've sent your feedback about this over internally that you'd like such a feature to be available.

As far as I'm aware, you also can't exclude a nested folder in OneDrive from syncing if it is in a synced parent folder 😞 But I'm not certain, so you may have wished to reach out to OneDrive to see if they have any advice on this.

My apologies that I can't help more directly! Let me know if you've any other thoughts or questions.

Hey there everyone, we unfortuantely do not have any updates from the teams about this feedback item.

For now, Asterix's solution of manually cleaning out your auto saves pretty frequently is the best thing I can recommend!
