I played this morning, now the game does not start. After the mouse cursor appears, the game closes. I have already reinstalled the game, Ubisoft Connect, checked all the drivers. I am sorry to read that the game does not start any more!

Unfortunately, the file you were trying to send is restricted, and we do not have access to it. Could you please make it accessible?

Also, could you please try verifying the game files in Ubisoft Connect, to see whether any issues show up?

Hey there @JuergenKing - sorry to hear you are facing issues getting Anno 1800 started up. I can see our teams are continuing to investigate this issue.

In the meantime, a majority of players facing this issue have been able to solve it already by following the steps in our troubleshooting guide. In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running the game with administrator rights, you've verified the game files, you've got your graphics drivers and Windows install fully updated, and you've (at least temporarily, for testing) deactivated all background programs.

Please note that if these steps do not solve the issue, it is unlikely that any further troubleshooting at the moment will work. Instead, I can only ask for your patience while we continue to investigate on our end.
