[2021] A Noticeable Improvement - micro freezes and hanging

I have to say I have noticed an improvement since your last patch. It is not right, but I have found the game to be playable. The game loads quicker and the startup pictures before playing your chosen character are much smoother.The game does still hang, but seldom and not for as long. I changed to Direct X 11

I have:
Intel Core i4770k
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070
8gigs dual DDR3 Memory

Places where it is inclined to hang occasionally :
While editing the Anno Chronicle
While clicking on Happy Farmer/ Worker's Happiness/ needs
While using transfer menu between ship and harbour.

That is what I have noticed so far while playing a new game.
I doubt playing one of my old games will be as successful.

Hello, thank you for your report!

We have received some reports recently regarding freezing and some improvements have been made. Some players have also noticed performance changes since recent GPU drivers.

- Can you please confirm if you have the latest drivers installed?

- Would it be possible to provide a short video of what you're experiencing?

- Did you notice if the hanging only seems to affect you when your city is large?

Hey there.

When you say crashes do you mean similar issues to those described in the topic where it is briefly freezing or is the game completely crashing to desktop? Have you noticed whether it is crashing when performing specific actions, after a certain length of time playing or does it seem random? I'd also recommend performing each step suggested here if you haven't already done so just to rule out some of the most common causes of crashing,
