There are a number of fairly long-standing issues, that I believe have a serious adverse effect on the game but are not on the Trello Known Issues list. These all need fixing, preferably as part of the next major game update (presumably GU16 to accompany the New World Rising DLC).

My understanding is that you prefer single issue threads, so I will split it into multiple threads. Apologies if I have this wrong and you would have preferred a multi-issue thread.

There is a major problem with the path algorithm that controls where production building delivery carts collect and deliver goods. The problem is that they walk past perfectly good warehouses to either collect or deliver goods to/from other production and raw material buildings. This results in some extremely long paths, so that the cart is not able to get back in time for the next load. This can result in either internal storage becoming full or goods missing, slowing production. It may be that the algorithm worked at the baseline game, but we can now have production rates easily at 200-300% and sometimes as high as 500%. It looks like the algorithm was never updated to account of this. There are also some buildings that have very long delivery ranges, which again cause these issues because the range is longer than the return journey time for the delivery cart.

In my opinion this is the single biggest problem with the game. It has forced players to use sub-optimal physical layouts of buildings to overcome it, including moving parts of production chains off the island. If I could only have one problem fixed, it would be this one.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Were there mods active on the saves used ?

๐Ÿ‘‰ If yes, does the problem still happen after removing them, checking the game files for anything missing or corrupted, and loading a save from before mods were active ?
