Well since my previous bug report finally made it into the bug list, I will also share with Ubisoft how to quickly fix the Flame Monitors so they will attack moving ships.
Cause: faulty code.

Vanilla code NORMAL FLAMETHROWER MONITOR (GUID 968):

25

0
0.9

-Delete 0, this is used on sailing ships to determine the angle at which it can shoot from the side, its NEVER used on steam ships with turrets as it will just bug it out, and FYI this is usually set to 50 on sailing ships, never on 0.
This alone will fix the issue, however there are 2 more issues I wish to mention.
-Delete 0.9, this is only ever used on quest and campaign ships, never on normal ships that the player, AI or pirates use, I removed this in my mod and its working just fine.
-Change 25 to 150, all ships use 150, 25 is simply way too low and makes no sense.

BLUE FLAMETHROWER MONITOR (GUID 1537):
-Delete 0
-Delete
-No need to change , its already set properly at 150 for blue flamethrower.

These are just a few changes I made in my own mod, but its mainly these 3 issues that need to be addressed in the vanilla game to fix the ships.
I also think the special effects of the blue flamethrower monitor deserve much more attention, however that is not a bug, though I do consider it unfinished and really bad looking, so I changed it myself in my mod.

Modded blue flamethrower effects: ">
Hopefully this can show Ubisoft the blue flamethrower looks much better with some love put into it, perhaps they can show it some love too...

Hey @IIAc3sII

I can see we have reported the issues with it already and the dev team are looking into a fix for a future update.
