see that pearls still appear (conversely, building is also under the effect of "replaced input", which works fine: gold ore is shown & used instead of gold)
this is MOSTLY a gui bug: the building does work fine without pearls, even though shown as required input
HOWEVER if pearls are available on the island, some WILL be brought (just once, they are not actually used):
