Hi
I am on the Windows 10 Steam version, and I cannot save my games. it saves the game but when I need to load the profiles are empty.. if I relaunch the game, there is no load game or continue..
I checked the documents folder, there is no Anno 1800 folder in it and couldn't locate any Anno 1800 folder except in the steam folder where it installed, there also there are no save games..
A help is appreciated here as the game is unplayable I wasted 10 hours of progress already...

Heya @Michelsakr , welcome to the Discussions forum! Sorry to hear you've lost progress after the game seems not to be saving correctly. I'll be happy to help you solve this.
In most cases, this suggests an access issue - the game hasn't been able to write the save file to your system, due to access privileges. Fortunately, this can be solved with the steps in our troubleshooting guide. In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running the game with administrator rights, you've verified the game files, you've got your Windows install fully updated, and you've (at least temporarily, for testing) deactivated all background programs.
Let me know if the game saves correctly after those steps. If not, I'll have some more intensive steps we can try

I'm sorry to hear this issue is persisting! Sometimes this can be caused by having the game installed on another drive from the launcher you're using. If you're using Steam, can you confirm if both Steam and Anno 1800 are installed to the same drive? If you need to uninstall and reinstall Steam you can find steps for that here. For good measure, if you can make sure Ubisoft Connect is in the same drive as well that would be great!
If the game and launchers are on the same drive and the issue is persisting, please let us know!
