This game seems to have some serious issues. First was GPU draw which for me was 100% that was before i noticed AA x8 i thought it was AA filtering at first but then i noticed it just says AA which i think might be MSAA or smg considering the performance hit.But enough of my rambling i seem to be getting low fps as low as 40-45 despite all my components not working anywhere CLOSE to the 100% my current system spec:
CPU - i7 8700K at 4.9Ghz
GPU - MSI Gaming X 3060TI
RAM- 16 GB RAM DDR4 3200Mhz Corsair Vengeance
SSD: Crucial MX500 1TB
Now to the matter at hand i have 40fps when looking at my CIty from above despite my CPU at all cores and my GPU sitting at 50% usage this is riddiculous v-ram usage is at 4-5gb so that's not it too!!!!! The only bizzare thing is the [censored] amount of RAM this game consumes which is preety much 100% of my 16GB. What i want to know is that the issue here or is this some game bug ? If anyone have some fixes for this i would appreciate this i know that you don't need 60fps in this but i like smooth gaming experience in my game and 40 fps is NOT smooth even it this strategy kind of game i can get 60fps at high/ultra in RDR2 or max settings in God Of War but Anno 1800 defeated my rig and lowered me to 40fps lol gj UBISOFT. SIGH This turned out into a rant any help is appreciated though.

Hey @ichi-nii_90 ,

Thanks for reaching out to us and keeping your thread updated, sorry to hear you're seeing such performance drops!

May we please know more about the performance while using Dx12? Such as the range you're seeing your FPS fluctuate between?

And just to confirm, have you checked that your GPU drivers are up to date?

Thank you!

@ichi-nii_90 Hi.

Thanks for further reporting your findings here, after running in DX12.

For testing purposes, would you be able to see if this issue persists on a new save? It would be interesting to see what the difference in performance would be, compared to a file with an already built city with multiple assets displayed.

In the meantime, if there are any steps you've not already tried that are listed in our performance guide here, we'd recommend testing these out too.

Many thanks.
