Hi @Graham_Crackrs

It's definitely strange that it would route you to other datacenters even after you've manually chose to connect to Oregon. Can we try running through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can stop this from happening?

First, I'd recommend starting off with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website to see how that goes. If you're still seeing the same issues after that check out the PC-specific steps as well. Let me know how that goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot. Thanks!

Hey @Graham_Crackrs

Thanks for following up! That UO trace looks solid. There's no measurable packet loss, and the ping doesn't look out of the ordinary. Have you tried setting a different DNS in Windows to see if that makes any difference at all?

You can update the DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. For more info on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website. If you choose the Manual option you'll be able to enter a DNS of your choosing. I usually go with the public Google DNS (primary DNS: 8.8.8.8, secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well.

Please let me know if you're still running into this same issue afterward. Thanks!

Have you tried starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference at all? If there's anything else running that might be causing this to happen that may help get around it.

For more details on how to set one up check out the EA Help website. Once you've had the chance to give it a shot please let me know how it goes. Thanks!
