If you're unsure of the login information, please reach out to support directly.

They'll be able to try looking up the account with the information you do recall (such as your son's Xbox gamertag) so they can try verifying and updating that info as needed.

That is not something we're able to look into on the forums but if you prefer you can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead.
