I don't think I've seen this message myself. EAC refers to Easy Anti-Cheat, so I'm guessing it means that it's trying to launch EAC alongside Apex Legends. You've been playing Apex Legends before now without any issues?

Have you tried verifying the integrity of the game files for Apex Legends in Steam to see if that makes any difference at all? For more info on how to verify the files check out the Steam Support website.

If you haven't already can you try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference at all? I'm curious if there might be something else running that's related to this issue, and a Clean Boot may help get around it if that's the case.
