We already know that the core engine is based on UE4 but the game will run on DirectX or Vulkan API ? You should realy consider Vulkan because Linux is getting closer to windows and suport for both platforms is crucial in order to keep the game alive on a long term and the overall performance of vulkan is crazy good even on old sistems
