I have a team that helps look after Battlefield. I'm still around but they are more on the frontlines while I sit back. I.e. my job has changed a bit, less Avenger, more Nick Fury.

TFW we've been flying without our guidance systems on all this time.

The BP increase is only a temporary measure until we get the patch out, it's there to make it so that there is a little bit more breathing room within matches :)

Hey everyone, just to confirm that we are preparing a small patch next week in order to address some balance changes we want to make to Anakin Skywalker.

In the mean time we will be increasing his Battle Point cost to 8,000 and 12,000 for era and non-era.

We'll bring you more info on the patch early next week, along with the full release notes.

Honestly, it's something we've thought about ourselves. One of the key things for us to identify why the ground phase is as good as it is, and see if we can replicate that feeling elsewhere.

I assume we won't be going back to weekly CTs either?

We'll push CTs out as and when there's stuff to talk about. Some months there might be more than others but it all comes down to the content that month etc

Oh, I completely understand your point, and I agree with your decision, I'm just saying that I can understand where the riot is coming from. At the end of the day 90% of people on this sub want this game to thrive, so when things are not that transparent I can see people getting scared of this game not being ad good ad it should be.

I understand it as well, but we will not be pushing a whole roadmap that details 12 months of content live. I think we're much more comfortable doing it in over 3 months or similar.

This also gives us manoeuvrability to change things up based on how the game is evolving. For example, if we had said "here's 12 months of CS maps" and the reaction to CS was "meh, don't like it", that puts us in a bad place. It gives us time to react, especially to what you're saying. The game now is different from this time last year and will be different again by the end of December too.

We know what we want to do for the rest of this year, I'm personally very happy with it.

People are mad because you said that the roadmap gives a "high level overview" while it has very little content confirmed.

It's high level overview because there's still things being added. The Leia appearance for example. When we released the roadmap we did clarify that not everything will go on it, that it will be updated over time etc

and when things get moved or shelved because for gameplay reasons they don't pan out, what then?

Finally people are seeing your true colors...

Not really. We've always been about telling you when things are ready. The roadmap covers the next few months and then as things get locked down we talk about them more.

We didn't talk about the Leia appearance etc

Some of the comments suggest that some find her underwhelming, so let's have a discussion on it - let us know the areas where you feel Leia is underperforming and what you'd like to see from her and we'll try and forward that feedback through to the hero guys.

Little bit of a mishap on our end, Daniel, our editorial writer managed to grab an interview with Manuel shortly before he went on paternity leave and as with all things gaming, dates shift around quite frequently which resulted in this snippet being incorrect.

Mishap aside though, it is still a great read once again from him and the changes hinted at in the image above are now expected to arrive this month.

We'll tell you when things are ready. In the mean time, there is the roadmap on the website that gives a high level overview.

Just a suggestion, I’d recommend putting a “don’t use/play” option for certain questions. For example, and I may be a minority here, I very rarely use vehicles, so including an option for players like me would yield more accurate results.

Good suggestion, will include that next time.
