Thanks all for the kind words, is all a bit hard to take.
Delta Squad weren't the Prophecy, Clone Commandos were ;)
Absolutes matter.
No, they aren't.
I have been through a ton of "live service" games through the years and nothing compares to your dedication and honest interaction with this community.
As much credit the entire SWBF team deserves i do think i speak on behalf of a lot of us saying that without you these past few years would've been a bit more grim. We had a rough start but when you came into the picture things started to look up.
Didn't expect this today and it for some reason hit harder than expected. I wish you all the luck with your future endeavours and a huge congratz on your producer role!
May the force be with you, Ben <3
It's always been a team sport. I'm just one cog in the machine. There are so many people on the team you don't know about, names you aren't familiar with. People who go that extra mile to add the little touches you all pick up on.
Thank you for the kind words, as always.
I’ll never forget the Twitter thread where you said:
“Plot twist, dipshit, I work at DICE, we don’t make Assassins Creed”
That was a good one, enjoyed that.

This Community - "Not to us"

Hope he still drops by every now and then to chat.
Always
I don't think you know what these past two years being by your side has meant to me, but thank you for leading and teaching me.
I'm incredibly proud to have worked with you on this amazing project and watch this community grow and thrive as those years have gone on. A lot of that progress is down to you, so thank you for being there through all the tough times & the fun ones too.
Thank you for being my champion in things, I consider you much more than a boss, and you know that.
Onwards and upwards, brother, I look forward to watching you thrive.
Roger, Roger.
Hello there,
Just wanted to drop a quick note with some info for you all.
It was around two years to the day that I first got the call asking if I wanted to work on Star Wars Battlefront II, and it didn’t take me too long to find myself moving across the country to DICE, a place I’d quickly call home.
There have been some great memories since then; The Clone Wars announce at EA Play, Geonosis trailer, Droideka reveal, meeting so many of you at Celebration, Felucia, Co-Op, and so much more. There’s been so many good times that recalling them all would be a CT in its own right.
It’s not all been about the game though, but the community itself. I’ve watched as the Star Wars Battlefront II Community has gone on to become one of the happiest across EA, and the entire industry.
I’ve watched as you’ve made me (and the team) laugh with some of your Sithpost Saturday submissions. The time spent on Discord just randomly chatting about Star Wars, and of...

Mine has been bugged since launch day, two of the campaign missions show all collectibles having been discovered, but the challenges menu says they are incomplete.
Username and platform?
We've done some backend work this morning so if you've already unlocked these rewards, it's to be expected to receive duplicate credits as well.
u/f8rge I saw that you said the grevious one will be fixed in the next update, will the rest be fixed too or are those still being worked on?
It's a fix that covers multiple heroes
Just for clarification: it's general fix, not only general's? The same bug is with Anakin's HM, Iden's shields, etc.
A fix that should cover multiple
Unrelated question Ben. What was it like moving from Britain to Sweden?
No regrets.
You know those bugs that were sent to kill Padme? It's actually one of those running around inside his head, triggering eye movement as it touches a nerve.
There could be one inside yours now...I bet it's making you blink at this very moment in time.
We have a fix going into the next update that corrects an issue where a Milestone would reward the wrong item for BB-8.
The biggest issue this game is facing right now is the staggers which will take Grievous out of animation while he is using his abilities every time. Claw rush just stops sometimes and if you actually get unrelenting advance to block damage and not die, it will continue the animation after the time period it is supposed to without blocking any damage and often not being able to be cancelled for a few seconds. Then thrust surge’a hitboxes are just not connecting half the time, and I have never been able to hit bb-8 with it.

This should be fixed in the next update.
Off topic but the Score and Elimination pop ups need to disappear at the same speed as they did in Battlefront 2015
/u/F8RGE this would be a fantastic and easy way to reduce HUD clutter.
We like the idea of turning things on and off.
“Sound is 50 percent of the movie-going experience.”
This principle is epitomized by one of the richest and most recognizable audio libraries in entertainment history – that of Star Wars™. It’s not only the iconic scores, it’s just as much the sounds of a firing blaster, an igniting lightsaber, and a roaring TIE fighter that are firmly embedded in pop-culture’s collective hive-mind.
Honoring this legacy in Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II was key for the game’s release, and has been an ongoing effort throughout the two-plus years of content updates.
Adopting existing sounds from the Lucasfilm archives is, of course, at the foundation, but there are many creative methods an audio designer needs to utilize in transferring the soundscape of Star Wars into a video game. Often, to meet the unique additions and requirements of the interactive environments presented, the audio team needs to create – or recreate – a sound ...
