Hey @Lahaina
Could you try a possible workaround?
It would be adding
[/Script/ConanSandbox.SystemSettings]
dw.UseModControllerCache=0
To ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini.
This would disable the new mod loading optimizations. It seems to have been causing some stability issues for some players, so just to rule that possibility out.
Hey all,
We’ve reported this to our team so we can give it a look. However, I have a feeling this will no longer be an issue once we release the upgraded pick-up functionality (ETA in 2.7) as it will also send to inventory any pieces on top of the one picked up. Just in case though, our team is now aware of this problem.
Hey @Lahaina
Thank you for the report. We’ve notified our team and added the extra info provided by @sestus2009 since it also seems to be happening on consoles.
Hey @oriondean
Thanks for the observation, we’ve notified our team about this visual issue. Could you also let us know your graphical settings in game in case it is helpful for us when trying to replicate the problem?
Hey @Toasty
Could you help our team by providing some information?
Thanks in advance.
Hey @DragonCowboy
Could you provide the exact coordinates of this visual issue? (press Ctrl - Shift - Alt - L in game to get the coordinates)
Thanks in advance, that will help our team tremendously when trying to find the spot.
Hey @Bladesaint
As @Sera67 points out, there’s a known issue at the moment where having a thrall in your inventory when trying to throw the orb prevents the character from finishing the action. We’re looking into it.
Thanks for the report.
Hey @TigronB
If reinstalling or verifying integrity of files doesn’t work, and based on past user experiences, we’d recommend either deleting the workshop folder to ensure no mods are affecting stability (sometimes disabling them isn’t enough), making sure the hard drive where the savegame/database is saved isn’t having corrupted sector issues, or that the folder where you have your game installed/database in has full permissions (write/read).
Hey all,
This is obviously not intentional. Thanks for the reports, our team is looking into it now.
I am completely onboard with you! It’s been fun to read.
Still waiting in hopeful(?) anticipation for phoenixcommand to return with said abomination.
This is a good post, plane and simple.
My going on a limb moment is maybe forcing Windows updates on your Windows-based servers and see if that helps update the certificate. We (well, G-Potral) had to do this for a cluster of official servers a few weeks ago and found success with that, but again, just spitballing here.
Gotcha. I’m terribly sorry you’re experiencing this issue and I wish I had something more concrete to offer. If we find out more we’ll let you know, but I would not expect immediate answers. Thank you for your patience.
Yeah that would really only apply to a Linux server…
Yeah, we’re aware this is affecting different types of servers. We’re looking into it but have not determined a root cause, as there is no currently-known common thread between hosts experiencing issues beyond the error messages being reported. Other hosts are up and running just fine, and I’m personally not aware of anything that would have changed in data to suddenly cause this issue after the update, so it’s hard ...
Read moreActually it just went from “I’m restarting!” to “I’m down!” so I’ll poke someone in ops.
Edit: Okay, back up now.
