ideally it'd generate little custom scenarios for every individual player to run into day by day but i'm keeping AI token economy in mind here
MMO-run neural net that writes new segments of its own ongoing story every day (political intrigue, discovering new continents/creatures/alchemy etc) and automatically generates code alongside it for the server to turn it into gameplay
bit sad that the era of AIs that generate eldritch monstrosities right on the edge of the frame is already drawing to a close
@woodrowwhite:
been very into fruit syrups lately. orange, peach, lemon. just add water, real nice. people don't often know about the secret syrups they may already have in their fridge. soy sauce can be a syrup. ketchup can be a syrup
making a game doesn't have to be about putting a marketable product on a store shelf. sometimes it can just be like making a big meal for your friends
big fan of gen II pokemon when the games were suddenly like "bro 😳 isn't it wild how cellphones are a thing 😳"
we just took off our cat's jingly bell collar so he can be comfortable and it's like we put the cat on mute
the more RTs your tweet gets the less people treat it like a throwaway 280-characters joke and the more they feel compelled to react like you intended it as a serious analysis that they have to debunk because you were too reductive
it appears some people are under the impression that i made up the indie ones. they are 100% real and were showcased on today's Day of the Devs stream, here's a timestamp
in order: Time Flies, Choo-Choo Charles, A Little to the Left, Bear and Breakfast
indie games: what if you were a little fly. what if a sentient locomotive was after you. what if you tidied up a house. what if you were a bear who runs a B&B
AAA games: what if u had a gun
this stream sucks when are they announcing the Morbius game
high-level sneaking perk that lets you pickpocket people's organs out of them while they're not looking
jonathan frakes should host the Snopes tv show
i'm so depressed
absolutely dying https://t.co/za0KEszTyi
@HardDriveMag woo wee
@AceOfArrows hmm, do any error messages show up in the console?
maybe i don't want to "let the ingredients get to know each other". maybe i want them to meet on the plate, brutally with no introduction. some unknown chemical reaction should be violently taking place. there should be smoke
seeing some really silly debates on whether generated neural net pics are art so my stance on the matter is simply: if something makes people consistently wonder "is this art?" then that should be enough to make it qualify as art
@moawko oh i love making bad games. i just released a thing actually which means i get to work on other stuff mostly guilt-free for a little while hmu
