[20:42:56][main.cpp:225]: SDL_InitSubsystem( SDL_INIT_VIDEO ) failed.

I don't recall ever seeing that error before, but I guess the game cannot find your video system. Please try this:

- uninstall your existing AMD driver with this tool:
https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx - reboot
- install the latest by fresh download from here:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download - reboot again

No need for the launcher logs, but can I get new copies of dxdiag, error, system and pdx_settings.txt please?

If we don't see anything new, I fear a Windows reset or reinstall is in your near future ... !

Yes a Windows reset or reinstall is a big deal, I am sorry about that! The fact you have it with other games means it's external to our game.

Make sure you have tested backups of you rphotos and other irreplaceable documents, and that you know where you can reinstall all your valued apps from. Any local Windows store can help you with this.
