They're saying that Stadia will be shut down 18th of Jan. Bungie just decided to shut down Destiny 2 early (Jan 10th), and this isn't widely known. I think this was only announced last week. Supposedly Bungie wanted to give chance for Stadia players to make sure they have cross play set up before Stadia actually shuts down next week.

It's not supposed - it's the truth.

Starting next week, focusing costs for all Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, Crucible, and Gambit weapons and armor will be reduced to 25 Legendary shards. Adept weapon focus cost will also be reduced to 50.
