Hello, there is no mandatory puzzles in the game they're all skippable

Crafting / gathering:
Too many resources like wood are required to craft every item. Those resources are also mostly limited to certain regions. For example, crafting Animist Staff fequires 63 minerolls (8+25+30). Crafting mineroll requires 3 worldroots and 2 thresthorns per ite...

I had an issue with this quest as well, I'll try to elaborate. One of the Moeba's was surrounded by critters, I ran in to trigger the dialogue and possible escape the combat with the critters, ...
