Hello,

before the patch, you could enable the out of date addons while playing any character. The UI had a "Reload UI" button that would make outdated addons immediately enabled after the reload.

Now it has changed.

If you enable the outdated addons while playing a character, it won't work. It does not enable them even after the Reload UI and the "Allow out of date addons" returns being unchecked.

You have to exit your character and go back to the main login screen to enable it and hope it'll work once you play a character.
I have written "hope", because some of my characters obey to the "Allow out of date addons" when I use the above workaround, some don't.

We checked this on our end and from what we can tell, the option seems to be functioning. Are either of you able to provide a screenshot of exactly where you're running into this issue?

UPDATE!
POSSIBLE FIX.
Somehow managed to fix it. What I did was I set to run client as administrator, restarted the pc, and then launched the game again. During the launch my antivirus, avast, asked me if i want to block eso from accessing and changing files which i set to "No". After loading a game I checked the checkbox as always and voila.

Only thing I noticed is that it enabled all addons, even the ones which were previously checked off.

Could someone else from this thread check any antivirus software you may be running and make sure it's not blocking ESO files?

Could you all check to see if you have a cloud-based application like Google Drive, OneDrive, etc syncing to your Documents folder?
