I was doing the quest that gets you Ember as a companion ("Tower Full of Trouble") and got caught in an endless loop at the end of it. It was where you go up the hill at the end, where the spirit called Windsorrow is. At this moment, Ember tells me: "It's done! The spell is set. Follow me. We should be able to see it materialize!" When I followed Ember, the quest would never complete. Instead, it kept insisting I run in a circle doing that part of the quest over and over and over, since it would never actually complete. I took a screenshot of the moment where the quest went buggy.
I'm on PC, EU server, on a wood elf sorc.

Hi all,

Thanks for reporting this. We can confirm we're investigating this and are working on a fix, which will be including in a future incremental patch.

This is happening to me in Isobel's quest. Every time I abandoned the quest I have to start over and get stuck at the same spot.

Do you have any more details you could share, @Insignia91 ? What step of Isobel's quest were you on? What was happening?

Hi everyone,

Thanks again for your patience and for sharing details about this issue. We are currently testing a fix for Ember's questline, and once it passes it'll go into an incremental patch.

Thanks for the feedback here. We have passed this on to the Dev team to investigate. For now, players who encounter this issue should try to relog in as that was proven successful from other users. But just wanted to highlight that the team is looking into this issue to avoid quest looping with Ember's quest.
