[2020] Can't launch game. "Patch required, please download and install" error - but no patch is available?

So here's a new one.

Just turned on my Xbox and tried to start eso and got that error message.

I noticed it patching when my Xbox first started but then it was done after a few seconds, except now the game won't start and I keep getting that error message. Xbox is telling me there's nothing that needs updating and no updates available.

So uh, anyone have any idea what's going on?
