My wife and I play with Oakensoul builds and we were playing in the endless archive this evening on console as it has just been released. When we fought the final boss of the second arc Tho'at all our buffs disappeared as if we had both taken our Oakensoul rings off, causing us to die. In response we took our rings off and put them back on and it seemed to sort out the problem and luckily didn't die the next attempt, but it still caused us to unnecessarily lose a thread. For our first run through this was a little frustrating as this wasn't our fault and appears to be a bug rather than our skill. Despite this, we still managed to get through reasonably well with no other hiccups.
