Banner buffs reset when someone enters / leaves banner area

So for arcanist this means then generate a crux every time someone enters the AOE. Yes, this means you can generate max crux in 1 second. For sorc this means the damage proc literally won't do anything if someone enters the banner area every second since the damage tick isn't on the first second.
