If your friend bought Escape from Tarkov Edition as a gift then he should see gift purchase from his profile page in transactions.
If he registered his own email during gift purchase then he just need to click envelope button next to gift transaction to re-send it to his email. After that he can forward it to you or just give you the code. Also we'd recommend to add our email addresses to his email whitelist:

Read moreSSD helps with loading times for sure, but game was crashing on other maps most likely because you have only 8GB of RAM and it's desirable to have at least 12 GB of RAM at this point of game development. Try playing couple raids on Reserve and see if you'll get crashes or long 1 fps freezes with your current setup.
There is a known issue with this task that is currently being worked on. Try restarting your game and see if you can accept this task again. If you can't - keep completing other therapists tasks for now.
It's just temporary measure to increase matching time. I don't like it either since you're being pushed by raid timer and can't play at normal pace. Hopefully raid timers will be returned to normal soon.
