[2022] Lost all my save files

When you go to your saved games menu, there is a checkbox saying "Show incompatible saved games". Make sure that is checked and try loading your game. Should still work, despite being "incompatible"

Also just loaded a "incompatible" save and saved imediatel, as suggested by BjornB and it worked, but I backed up the save beforehand just in case.

They are listed correctly if you're looking at it from a maths point of view.

Ie.

1.9 is a much larger number than 1.10, hence why version ordering is a bit, let's say, iffy?

This is correct. We don't do the sorting.
